Succeeding In Business – Step 1 The How 2 Guide to Investing In Yourself And Attracting More Business
When I mention people like Richard Branson, Donald Trump or Oprah, what comes to mind? Entrepreneur, Successful, Rich?
They’re all great examples of big thinkers. People who live the lifestyle many of us can only dream about. But apart from all their success and money they also have something else in common – They have a great outlook on life and great attitude!
Actually look at many other successful people throughout history and you’ll find a similar atribute. A great attitude coupled with a dream and desire. US President Barack Obama is a great example. Many people believe he’s not the most experienced or qualified person to lead America, but his attitude inspires people to follow and believe in him. He admits to be successful in his role he has to focus on himself too. His attitude is his key to success.
I know you maybe thinking, well Barack Obama had lots of money, staff and campaigns behind him, but his dream started small too. I decided to find a way to work from home because I wanted to spend more time at home with my daughter, but instead of heading for the business section of the book store, I started with Personal Developent because I had to figure out what it was I was really passionate about. Have you ever heard the term “If you do what you’re really passionate about, then you’ll never work a day in your life”.
So, what would you focus on if money were no longer an issue for you? What would your life look like if you had the freedom to really live your life instead instead of working your tail off for someone else so they have the freedom to live theirs? It’s up to you to take responsibility and stop blaming someone else or even the situation you’re in.
You ay have already realised your purpose but just not taken any action on it yet. Try and remember if you’ve had an AH-HA moment, when you think “What Am I Doing?” “Why Am I Doing This?” or “Why Aren’t I Doing This Instead?” Personally mine was having my baby using self-hypnosis to make it a calm and beautiful experience.
So to get going, I started reading books. While my baby slept I would delve into any personal development book or course I could. The first one I read and still re-read now is The Secret by Rhonda Byrne Then Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert E. Kyosaki
I also studied a course called The Discovery Series, which really helped put all the theories taught in books into practice.
These days I often stop myself and say Oh my gosh, Im so happy! I dont mean my life is perfect, but just that Im grateful for what I have and also grateful for my gifts as they help me on my journey to an extraordinary life.
My mental attitude is no suprise really because I know the effort I a putting in, so I expect results, but what I was suprised at is the attitude and reaction from other people. Family, friends, colleagues and even strangers seem to respect me more, because I respect myself more. Some have even asked I really like your attitude, what have you been doing lately?
I am becoming a magnet for positive people and my business is booming as a result.
Just remember people dont buy a product or business opportunity they buy YOU!!!!!!!
For a successful personal and business life – Attitude is KEY!
So go and invest in the most important thing of all … YOURSELF!
